Upper Deck Series 1 is the annual kickoff to the flagship NHL trading card season, and 2025-26 is no different. With a traditional 250-card base set, this release sets the tone for collectors chasing both veteran stars and Young Guns rookies. Series 2 and Extended Series will follow, but it all starts here.

The Young Guns rookie subset once again takes up the final 50 cards of the base set, showcasing late-season call-ups from 2024-25 (not 2025 Draft picks—those will appear in future sets). Young Guns fall 1:2 packs or six per Hobby box on average.
